Our Outside Services team is the heartbeat of the daily golf operation and plays a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our members and guests. Position Overview The Outside Service Attendant is a front-line ambassador for Contentment Golf Club. This position is responsible for delivering a warm, welcoming, and seamless arrival and departure experience while supporting all aspects of the outside golf operation, including valet, cart operations, bag handling, and practice facility maintenance. This position offers a unique opportunity to become part of our caddie program. Team members will complete caddie training and have the opportunity to work as independent contractor caddies, providing additional income while becoming more involved in the member golf experience. Schedule & Employment Structure This position combines a consistent hourly role with the opportunity to earn significant additional income through caddying. Outside Service Attendant (W-2 Employee) Typically work one 12-hour shift per week supporting: Valet Services Cart Operations Driving Range & Practice Facilities Bag Room Operations Tournament & Daily Golf Operations Caddie (1099 Independent Contractor) Upon successful completion of Contentment's caddie training program, team members may caddie 3-4 days per week , depending on member demand, performance, and availability. Caddie assignments are compensated separately through caddie fees and gratuities. Caddies perform services as independent contractors (1099) and are responsible for any applicable taxes associated with those earnings. Key Responsibilities Member & Guest Experience Greet members and guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude. Provide safe, efficient, and courteous valet parking services. Anticipate member needs and deliver service that feels personal and effortless. Create an exceptional private club experience while maintaining a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Outside Services & Golf Operations Handle, transport, and care for golf bags, carts, and member equipment. Stage and prepare golf carts with exceptional attention to detail. Maintain the driving range, short game area, and putting greens. Assist with daily setup and breakdown for golf operations, outings, and tournaments. Keep the cart barn, bag room, valet area, and staging areas clean, organized, and presentation-ready. Caddie Responsibilities Successfully complete Contentment's caddie training program. Provide professional, attentive, and knowledgeable on-course support. Read greens, assist with course management, carry or forecaddie as assigned, and enhance the member experience. Represent Contentment with professionalism, integrity, and pride on every loop. Build meaningful relationships with members through exceptional service. Team Support Work collaboratively with Golf Professionals, Grounds, Clubhouse, and fellow Outside Service team members. Support club events, tournaments, and special functions. Uphold Contentment's family-oriented culture, service standards, and core values. Take initiative and assist wherever needed to ensure a seamless member experience. Qualifications Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred. Golf knowledge or private club experience is a plus but is not required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry golf bags weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to walk multiple miles while caddying. Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude. Dependable, professional, and eager to learn. Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings. Compensation & Opportunities $15.00 per hour for Outside Service Attendant duties. Opportunity for an end-of-year performance bonus.
