Job Description

Position Overview:
The Valet Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless arrival and departure experiences for guests at Edgewood Tahoe Resort. The Valet Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by safely parking, retrieving, and handling guest vehicles. As the first and last point of contact for resort guests, the valet represents the resort's brand and must deliver a consistently warm, professional, and anticipatory service experience in a luxury environment. The ideal candidate possesses a strong commitment to guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless valet experience. Assist in overseeing daily valet operations, including vehicle handling, ticketing, and traffic flow management. Coordinate with Front Desk, Concierge, and Bell Services to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures. Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, resolving issues with a guest-first approach. Monitor valet zones to maintain safety, organization, and efficient service. Deliver a world-class arrival and departure experience for all guests, ensuring Forbes Travel Guide service standards are met or exceeded. Conduct regular inspections of valet areas to uphold cleanliness, organization, and safety. Report and document any incidents, damages, or safety concerns. Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous experience in valet operations or luxury hospitality. Strong knowledge of Forbes service standards. Excellent communication, Guest Service and organizational skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate luxury and exotic vehicles.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 50 lbs. Able to perform physical tasks, including running for the majority of the shift, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
