WOOSTER COMMUNITY HOSPITAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Customer Transport Representative
MAIN FUNCTION
The Customer Transport Representative is responsible for the operation of a transportation vehicle on a designated route(s). He/she must be a responsible driver and have thorough knowledge of traffic and safety rules; performs routine vehicle safety and maintenance checks; prepares and maintains related records and reports; presents a customer service attitude; and represents Wooster Community Hospital in a favorable image.

Director, Marketing/Public Relations
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent. Valid Ohio Driver's License No written disciplinary action within the last 12 months.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS

POSITION EXPECTATIONS
Operates automotive vehicle safely and efficiently for the purpose of transporting health care customers to Wooster Community Hospital and physician offices. Maintains operational functions of vehicle to assure continued service, scheduling maintenance service, etc. Conducts daily inspection of vehicle to ensure safe mechanical operation. Cleans interior and exterior of van to provide a professional appearance appropriately representing Wooster Community Hospital. Explains schedules and transport service to customers upon pick-up. Completes a written time schedule and passenger list for all assigned runs. Maintains knowledge of traffic and safety rules. Displays skills to operate automotive vehicle in all types of weather conditions. Maintains mechanical aptitude and ability to make minor repairs and adjustments to equipment. Has geographical knowledge of Wayne and Holmes Counties.
