Stocking Full Job Description Wages:
$7.25 an hour +
Cash Tips Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Warmly greet golfers and provide a positive first impression of the golf course. Assist golfers with their golf bags, loading them onto carts, and providing any needed assistance. Ensure carts are clean, stocked with necessary items (towels, scorecards, etc.), and in good working order. Maintain a clean and organized bag drop area.
Cart Management:
Stage golf carts in the designated area, ensuring they are properly fueled and ready for play. Clean and maintain golf carts after each use, including washing, drying, and refueling. Ensure carts are stored properly and secured at the end of the day.
Driving Range and Practice Areas:
Set up the driving range with balls, bag stands, and other necessary equipment. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the driving range and practice areas, including collecting range balls and removing trash. Monitor and replenish supplies in the practice areas.
General Maintenance and Operations:
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all work areas, including the cart barn and other storage areas. Assist with tournament operations as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the Golf Professional or management.
Skills and Qualifications:
Customer Service:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods, lift golf bags, and operate golf carts.
Organizational Skills:
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Golf Knowledge:
Basic understanding of golf course procedures and etiquette.
Teamwork:
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
Safety Awareness:
Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to identify and address potential hazards.
Age Requirement:
Often requires being at least 16 years old, and some positions may require a valid driver's license.
