Job Description

Elevated Healthcare Hospitality, in partnership with our healthcare agencies, provides exceptional hospitality to patients and guests offering a suite of transportation logistics including shuttle transportation and valet parking in a thoughtful, compassionate and meaningful way. Valet @ Geisinger Wyoming Responsible for greeting guests and patients in a friendly and professional manner upon their arrival, and assisting them, if necessary, with wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, etc. Provide information on directions for the hospital or medical facility.
Responsibilities:
Safely park and retrieve vehicles and maintain cleanliness and organization in parking areas. Assist patients and guests with wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, etc. as needed. Provide information regarding directions inside the hospital / medical facility. Ensure that traffic flows smoothly while keeping entrance area free of vehicles Provide helpful information to all guests regarding transportation schedules and services. Understand company's management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas. Other duties per Duties Checklist and as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Superior customer services skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts Must have excellent communication skills and able manage multiple tasks efficiently Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people Must be able to fulfill the physical demands of the job including the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, stand for extended periods of time, and walk several miles daily. Must be 21 years of age Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and a motor vehicle record check. Preferred, but not required: ability to drive a standard (stick shift) vehicle.
Knowledge and Experience:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Valid Driver's license with clean driving record
Experience:
Six (6) months in a driver / valet setting preferred This position is located in the facility in Wilkes Barr PA. Hourly rate is $12.00 with the opportunity to earn approximately $3-5 additional per hour in tips. Benefits offered for full-time, year-round associates include medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, and other voluntary benefits.
