Parking Lot Attendant East Greenwich Yacht Club East Greenwich, RI Job Details Part-time | Seasonal | Full-time $17 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Outdoor work In-person customer service High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Venue customer assistance Organizational skills Patrolling Security Event customer service Full Job Description Job Summary Responsible for maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient parking operation at the East Greenwich Yacht Club. Duties include patrolling club parking lots to verify that vehicles display the appropriate parking stickers, directing members and guests to designated parking areas, and ensuring smooth traffic flow throughout the property. Coordinates parking arrangements for private events, assisting members and guests with parking logistics to maximize space utilization and provide a positive guest experience. Maintains a professional and courteous presence while enforcing club parking policies and supporting overall club operations. Responsibilities Patrolling the East Greenwich Yacht Club parking lots, ensuring that all cars have the appropriate sticker. Guiding members and their guests cars to the appropriate lots. Coordinating parking for members and their guests during private events. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with members, guests, and event attendees. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow and enforce parking policies in a courteous and professional manner. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in busy or high-traffic situations. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed. Previous experience in parking operations, traffic control, security, hospitality, or customer service is a plus but not required. Preferred Skills Experience directing vehicle traffic and coordinating parking logistics. Familiarity with yacht club, marina, hospitality, or private club environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities during large events. Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, service-oriented attitude.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
