! Position Summary The Shop Helper assists technicians and shop staff with the maintenance, repair, cleaning, and organization of golf carts and shop equipment. This position supports daily operations by preparing vehicles for service, maintaining a clean work environment, and helping ensure repairs and customer deliveries are completed efficiently. Key Responsibilities Assist technicians with golf cart maintenance, repairs, and installations. Clean, wash, and detail golf carts before delivery or pickup. Organize tools, parts, and supplies within the shop. Load and unload golf carts, batteries, and equipment safely. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure, charging batteries, and replacing simple components. Keep the shop, work areas, and storage areas clean and organized. Pick up and deliver parts as needed. Assist with inventory control and stocking supplies. Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Help prepare golf carts for customer delivery and showroom display. Provide courteous customer service when interacting with customers. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to use basic hand tools and equipment. Valid driver's license preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
