Job Description

Cook Ford is looking for a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Service Porter to join our Service Department. The Service Porter plays an important role in keeping the service drive organized, moving customer vehicles safely and efficiently, and helping provide a clean, professional experience for every customer. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working around vehicles, takes pride in their work, and wants to gain experience in the automotive industry. Responsibilities Assist Service Department personnel in a friendly and professional manner. Move customer vehicles to and from service bays, parking areas, and designated locations. Retrieve and deliver customer vehicles as needed. Maintain an organized and efficient service drive and parking areas. Perform vehicle pick-up and delivery duties when needed. Assist Service Advisors and Technicians with general department needs. Check vehicles for personal belongings before and after service when required. Maintain cleanliness of the Service Department, customer waiting areas, and surrounding areas. Assist with moving and organizing vehicles throughout the dealership lot. Safely operate dealership vehicles and equipment. Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures. Ensure customer vehicles are handled with care and respect at all times. Assist with vehicle deliveries and other dealership errands as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned by Service Management. Qualifications Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles is preferred. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to safely lift, carry, and move items as required. Previous automotive or dealership experience is helpful but not required. Willingness to learn and take direction.
