Exact pay structure discussed during the interview. Job Summary We're hiring a reliable Cargo Van Delivery Driver to handle pickups and deliveries across the Sacramento area and surrounding region. You'll operate a company-provided cargo van, complete loads assigned throughout your shift, and make sure every delivery arrives on time, in good condition, and properly documented. Runs range from local stops to longer regional trips. This is a steady, hands-on role for someone dependable who communicates well and takes pride in doing the job right. Duties Safely operate a company-provided cargo van to complete local and regional deliveries along assigned routes, following all traffic laws and safety regulations Accept and complete loads assigned during your scheduled hours Load and unload cargo by hand, handling all items with care Follow pickup and delivery instructions exactly, including proof-of-delivery photos or signatures Communicate promptly about delays, delivery issues, or completed runs Conduct basic vehicle inspections before and after each shift and report any maintenance issues right away Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for every shipment Keep the van clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition Qualifications Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record Prior delivery or route-driving experience preferred Smartphone with a data plan (used for navigation, load assignments, and delivery confirmation) Able to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly throughout the day Strong sense of reliability and punctuality — consistent attendance is essential Professional, clear communicator when interacting with customers and dispatch Basic understanding of safe driving and cargo-handling practices Must pass a [background check and/or motor vehicle record check] Authorized to work in the United States Schedule & Reliability This role is an 8-hour shift scheduled within a 5am-5pm window, [Monday-Friday]. Start times may vary slightly based on daily load assignments. Delivery distances vary — most runs are completed same-day, ranging from local stops to longer regional trips. On rare occasions, a regional run may extend late enough that returning home the same day isn't possible, requiring an overnight stay before completing or returning from the route. When this happens, we cover the cost of a budget motel plus a $20 meal allowance. Applicants should be comfortable with this possibility, though it is the exception, not the norm. No-call/no-shows and repeated lateness are grounds for ending the working relationship. We're looking for someone dependable for the long term. You'll receive a guaranteed hourly wage for all hours worked, paid in compliance with California labor law.

This includes:
