QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bus drivers must have the ability to operate up to and including a 40 foot vehicle with air brake
  • Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade
  • Good driving record; must be able to qualify for District insurance coverage
  • Experience in the operation of heavy vehicles
LICENSES/CERTIFICATES

  • Valid California motor vehicle operator's license, Class B, with passenger and school bus endorsement
  • Valid California School Bus Driver's Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate issued by the American Red Cross or US Bureau of Mines, or pass a first aid examination conducted by the California Highway Patrol
  • Valid medical certificate approved by the Department of Motor Vehicles or the Federal Highway Administration of the US Department of Transportation Requirements / Qualifications
