Monday-Friday shifts available. Must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift Work where every moment matters. helicopter services. We deliver and coordinate a continuum of high-quality healthcare with the goal of improving the health of our communities. Job Summary The Public Safety Transporter maintains, safely operates a shuttle vehicle to provide timely transportation for colleagues that park at an off-campus location and need transportation to and from the hospital.
Qualifications Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Licensure, Certification, Registration:
Valid driver's license with Passenger Endorsement Medical Certification Card as required by the Department of Transportation.
Experience:
One (1) year of relevant experience required. Experience operating public service or transportation vehicles or buses preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Provides highly professional, customer service focused assistance to the HHC Community specifically colleagues that use the hospital transportation service. Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions, effectively communication information. Demonstrate a positive attitude in support of the organization's mission, vision and values. Focused on providing an exceptional experience to our patients, customers, staff, organizations, and internal and external partners. Ability to analyze and solve a variety of difficult situations, problem events, emergencies. Attention to detail and ability to handle tasks independently. We take great care of careers.
