Job Description
Sprinter Van Delivery Driver Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Delivery Driver for a company based in Clearwater, FL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a dynamic team in a fast-growing manufacturer of aerospace coating and metal finishing. Pay Rate $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Schedule and Hours Day shift Primarily local routes within Pinellas County Regular trips to Sarasota (approximately twice per week) Occasional longer-distance deliveries (up to 700 miles round trip) Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured and handled properly. Operate a sprinter van to deliver finished products to key customers in a timely and professional manner Pick up parts and materials from customer locations Review in-process documentation according to internal procedures Prepare and ship finished orders back to customers Facilitate customer pickups and ensure smooth handoffs Inspect ordered products and report any issues to appropriate departments Maintain accurate delivery and shipment records Ensure vehicle is operated safely and maintained properly Delivery Driver Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record Previous driving/delivery experience required (Sprinter van experience preferred) Ability to pass a security background check Strong reliability, work ethic, and attendance record Ability to follow procedures and handle documentation accurately Good communication skills and professional demeanor Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Bilingual (English required; Spanish or other languages a plus) Job Type Full-time, Direct Hire Benefits Weekly Pay Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance 40 Hours Service Bonus after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 6 paid Holidays after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 401(k) R etirement P lan Automation Personnel Services is the only staffing agency specializing in manufacturing and industrial roles that offers 401(k) matching to all eligible contingent and temporary associates.
