Job Description
The Hotel Shuttle Driver serves as a guest-facing ambassador for the property, providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation between the hotel and airport. This role blends professional driving skills with strong customer service, ensuring guests begin and end their stay with a positive impression. Key Responsibilities Transport guests safely to and from the airport or designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Provide exceptional customer service, greeting guests, assisting with luggage, and answering questions about hotel services or local area. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, ensuring the shuttle is presentable, sanitized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns. Adhere to all traffic laws, hotel policies, and airport commercial transportation regulations. Monitor flight schedules and adjust pickup/drop-off timing to ensure timely service. Communicate effectively with front desk, concierge, and management regarding guest needs, delays, or special requests. Assist guests with mobility needs, including loading wheelchairs or providing additional support. Document mileage, fuel usage, and trip logs as required by hotel operations. Requirements Valid driver's license; clean driving record. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift luggage (typically 25-50 lbs.) Familiarity with local roads, airport terminals, and traffic patterns. Professional, courteous, and reliable demeanor. Ability to operate vans, minibuses, or similar commercial vehicles. Basic mechanical awareness for vehicle safety checks. Hospitality mindset - understanding that the driver is often the first and last point of guest contact. High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Prior experience as a driver, courier, or customer service representative is beneficial. Experience in hospitality or guest services is a plus.
