an Access Van Driver!
IMMEDIATE OPENING!
Working hours are currently Monday- Friday, as early as 6 am- and end as late as 7:30 pm $17.65 per hour to start 40 hours per week with occasional overtime as needed Excellent opportunity to get into a transportation career
Duties:
Safely transport individuals to various destinations using a specially equipped van Provide passenger support to enter and exit the van Securely load and unload passengers using a wheelchair lift or other accessibility features Assist riders with securing wheelchairs and other personal belongings within the van Ensure the safety and comfort of all riders Communicate clearly with passengers regarding their transportation needs Keep all client and passenger interactions professional Respect passenger privacy and dignity Operate the access van per all state traffic laws and safety regulations Maintain awareness of road conditions and potential hazards Follow designated routes and schedules Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections Immediately report any mechanical or safety concerns Maintain accurate trip logs and passenger information Accurately complete all required paperwork Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
A valid Idaho Driver's License with a clean driving record At least 21 years of age for insurance reasons A patient and compassionate demeanor Ability to interact with individuals with varying abilities with respect and understanding A commitment to safety Ability to safely lift and move up to 35 lbs.
