Job Description

The Boys and Girls Clubs are looking for van drivers! Part time position 2 -3 hours a day, picking up at various schools around the area. Hours are 2:00pm to 4:30pm. The van driver will be under the direct supervision of the site manager and is responsible for operating the organization's vehicles as outlined in the transportation policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understand and adhere to the organizational transportation policies and procedures • Attend an on-site orientation, which includes the completion of the van driver checklist before operating an agency vehicle. Inspect the vans daily and report findings. Service vans as directed by supervisors Clean interior of the vans daily; clean exterior of the vans as needed; vacuum floors and upholstery twice a month. Assure all passengers have access to and use seat belts during any and all transportation. Assure compliance to all seat belt regulations Maintain and control discipline in the van and report problems to supervisors Maintain accurate reporting record: complete daily log of youth riding Complete the First-Aid report on all accidents that occur in the van. Perform all other duties as assigned. Inspect van after each drop off to make sure all youth have exited the van
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE /ATTRIBUTES/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
At least 25 years of age Able to communicate effectively with adults and youth Have a good driving record Valid driver's license Must pass background check
