Van Driver
Job Summary The Hingham Public School system is seeking a Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school daily.
Qualifications
Must have a clean driving record
Maintain or be able to maintain a 7D License, required. Training available, if needed.
Responsibilities
Driving students to and from home/school.
Observing all established work practices in accordance with school policies.
Complying with all motor vehicle laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Registry of Motor Vehicles, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, School Committee, and local authorities
Ensure safety of students during transportation, including loading, unloading, and maintaining safe driving environment.
Reporting of all observed student injuries, accidents, illnesses and discipline problems to your supervisor in a timely manner.
Maintain order among students, enforcing policies, and communicating with students, and school staff
Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of vehicles.
Maintaining a clean vehicle at all times.
