Van Driver

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with older adults and is committed to providing safe, courteous, and dependable transportation. Full & part time hours available, $20-$22 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Transport residents to appointments, shopping trips, and scheduled outings Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transit Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues Follow all traffic laws and community transportation policies Coordinate with staff to manage transportation schedules

Qualifications:

Valid Massachusetts driver's license with a clean driving record Must pass DOT physical Be capable of lifting, transferring, securing wheel chairs to the safety cables on floor of van, walking clients on and off of the van and to their destination if needed. The ability to communicate effectively in English through verbal and written means.
