Independent Dealer Trade Driver (Contract / On-Call) Drive Your Schedule. Be Your Own Boss. We're looking for dependable, professional Dealer Trade Drivers to support our growing automotive network. This is a flexible, on-call contractor opportunity—perfect for individuals who enjoy driving, value independence, and take pride in reliability and service. If you're an experienced driver with a strong work ethic and a clean driving record, we'd love to partner with you. Why This Opportunity Stands Out No nights or weekends Independent contractor role (1099) - take control of your work and income Ideal for retirees, part-time workers, or anyone seeking flexible income What You'll Do As a Dealer Trade Driver, you'll play a key role in keeping dealership operations moving: Safely transport vehicles between dealership locations (within Michigan) Securely deliver high-value or confidential documents and items Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate trip logs and required paperwork Follow all DOT regulations and company policies Provide professional, courteous service to dealership personnel Plan and follow efficient routes while prioritizing safety What We're Looking For Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable with driving a variety of vehicles (cars, vans, light trucks, etc.) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Ability to handle invoicing and submit billing in a timely manner
