$20.06 Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join our Transportation team on a part-time variable basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting student passengers to various locations. This position requires a commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Safely operate a van to transport goods and passengers to designated locations. Ensure timely delivery of items while adhering to scheduled routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and passengers. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents to the supervisor immediately. Keep the vehicle clean and organized, both inside and outside. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and logistics. Requirements Valid Michigan driver's license ; Must be 21 years or older. Clean driving record Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor. Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations. Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes is preferred. Must pass a background check and drug screening. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Clear vision (with or without correction) and hearing are essential to ensure safe operation and communication. The work is performed in a variety of weather conditions and may involve exposure to vehicle fumes, noise, and vibrations. The employee must possess the physical and mental capabilities to safely operate a school bus and respond promptly to emergencies.
