Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Daycare Driver to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting children to and from daycare facilities, ensuring a smooth and secure experience for families. Your expertise in passenger vehicle operation, combined with excellent customer service skills, will help create a positive environment for children and their guardians. Responsibilities Safely operate passenger vehicles, including vans, shuttle buses, or limousines, on local driving routes to transport children and staff. Follow GPS navigation systems accurately to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal safety and performance. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and daycare staff regarding schedules or any transportation concerns. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety protocols during every trip. Assist with loading and unloading children safely, including managing heavy lifting when necessary. Keep accurate logs of trips, mileage, and vehicle condition reports for compliance purposes. Experience Prior experience as a delivery driver or bus driver is highly desirable. Proven background in shuttle driving, passenger van operation, or chauffeur services. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes. Experience with medical transportation or client-specific vehicle delivery is a plus. Knowledge of manual handling techniques and heavy lifting safety procedures. Strong understanding of traffic regulations and passenger vehicle operation standards. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children's families and daycare staff confidently. Must have
