Overview Join our dynamic team as a Transport Driver and become a vital part of our logistics and transportation operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers and goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional customer service. Your mechanical knowledge and driving expertise will help keep our fleet in top condition while delivering a positive experience to every customer you serve. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of vehicles including motor coaches, school buses, shuttle buses, limousines, and delivery trucks to transport passengers or cargo. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, mechanical soundness, and compliance with all safety regulations. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, answering questions, and ensuring a comfortable journey. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, passengers, and team members to coordinate routes and address any issues promptly. Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical concerns to ensure the fleet remains in optimal condition. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to guarantee safe transportation at all times. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues. Proven experience as a commercial driver, shuttle driver, or delivery driver with a focus on safety and reliability. Familiarity with different vehicle types such as motor coaches, school buses, limousine services, and paratransit vehicles. Excellent communication skills in English for clear interactions with passengers and team members. Ability to handle customer service situations professionally while maintaining a positive attitude. Knowledge of driving regulations related to bus driving, school bus driving, and commercial licensing requirements. Experience in maintenance routines for vehicles used in transportation services.
