Seeking Restaurant Servers to provide world class hospitality

Job Summary We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic servers to join our team at Shaggy's on the Rez, a waterfront dining destination that offers exceptional culinary experiences. As a server, you will be responsible for delivering world-class hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. This is not just an order-taking position; our servers are expected to demonstrate advanced salesmanship by guiding guests through the menu and helping them discover dishes that exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver personalized, attentive service while ensuring all guests feel welcome and valued. Provide expert knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage pairings. Use advanced salesmanship to sell the experience, not just take orders—help guests discover and choose dishes that align with their tastes and preferences. Engage guests by offering suggestions for courses, drinks, and enhancements that will elevate their dining experience. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of daily specials, seasonal offerings, and unique menu features. Efficiently manage a section of tables, ensuring seamless service from greeting to farewell. Ensure that the restaurant and waterfront areas are clean, organized, and visually appealing. Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and management to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage delivery. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with grace and professionalism. Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of serving experience in a successful casual or upscale restaurant. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for hospitality. Proven ability to upsell and guide guests through a curated dining experience. Extensive knowledge of food, wine, and beverage pairings. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Familiarity with waterfront settings or resort environments is a plus.
