Shuttle Driver

Duties Safely operate a variety of vehicles including golf carts, small trucks, mini-vans, and passenger vans Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods, ensuring secure handling of freight. Drive route-specific schedules with precision, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns before operating the vehicle. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and company policies. Qualifications Valid driver's license. Proven experience in driving, including delivery routes and route driving responsibilities. Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or manual techniques; forklift certification is a plus. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures including securing loads on flatbeds or tankers. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic regulations.
