The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities while ensuring their comfort and safety during transit. This role requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism. Duties Operate vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Provide timely transport of patients to hospitals or medical facilities as directed by emergency personnel. Assist medical staff in loading and unloading patients, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the ambulance, performing routine inspections and necessary maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, medical personnel, and other team members to coordinate patient care. Document patient transport details accurately for record-keeping purposes. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families during transport. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting patients into the ambulance or transferring them to medical facilities. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and the ability to identify mechanical issues is advantageous. A commitment to providing compassionate care in high-pressure situations is essential.
