Job Description

Overnight Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting hotel guests to and from designated locations while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a professional demeanor, adherence to all traffic laws and company policies, and a commitment to guest satisfaction. Union environment . Must be able to work 11:30P - 7:30A! What you will be doing Key Responsibilities This description outlines the primary duties of the position; however, it is not intended to be an exhaustive list. Employees may be asked to perform additional tasks as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Transport guests to and from predetermined destinations in a safe, timely, and courteous manner. Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage from the hotel shuttle vehicle. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing directions, recommendations, and general assistance as needed. Respond to guest inquiries promptly and courteously. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns. Perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks as appropriate and report major mechanical issues, accidents, or damage to management immediately. Ensure all tolls, parking fees, and other authorized transportation-related charges are properly handled. Comply with all federal, state, and local traffic laws, regulations, and company driving policies. Operate only on approved routes and within designated service areas. Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance in accordance with company dress code standards. Complete required logs, reports, and documentation accurately and timely. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Dress in a neat and professional manner. This may be in accordance with the shuttle service company's dress code or in accordance with the stipulated dress code for drivers operating in that area. Other tasks assigned by management
Requirements:
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules (including nights, holidays and weekends) to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving history for the last 3 years. Ability to successfully pass a background check and motor vehicle record review. Previous experience operating shuttle buses, vans, limousines, or similar passenger vehicles preferred. Knowledge of local streets, highways, airports, and surrounding areas. Ability to comply with all applicable transportation laws, regulations, and safety requirements. Attention to details - regular reporting of any issues.

Dependable attendance and punctuality. Work in a highly demanding environment. Basic math skills are also required for proper documentation of work details. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a vehicle. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull luggage weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to enter and exit the vehicle frequently throughout the shift. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Friendwell Managed Hotels function twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. As a part of the hospitality industry a hospitable service atmosphere must be maintained at all times. All employees are required to project a friendly, welcoming, and positive attitude.
