Job Description
Duties:
- Safely operate a bus or other passenger vehicle to transport passengers to designated locations
- Follow predetermined routes and schedules
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience
- Collect fares or tickets from passengers as required
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including those with disabilities or special needs
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
- Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues to the appropriate authorities
Requirements:
- Must Have over the road experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical operations and basic maintenance of vehicles
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with passengers
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and responsibly
- Flexibility in working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Skills:
- Customer service: Providing friendly and helpful assistance to passengers during their journey
- Commercial driving: Operating large vehicles such as buses or trucks for transportation purposes
