Weekend Shuttle Driver Hampton Inn Akron South Akron, OH Job Details Part-time From $14 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Heavy lifting Unloading Driver's License Passenger pickup and drop-off Full Job Description Overview Join our dynamic team as a Weekend Shuttle Driver and become a vital part of our transportation network! In this role, you will drive our van to transport flight crew to and from the airport as well as other destinations within 3 miles of the hotel . Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellent customer service will ensure a positive experience for all riders. Duties Safely operate shuttle van during weekends from 11 am to 4 pm Assist passengers with boarding deboarding the vehicle Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicle to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper functioning of all equipment. Maintain accurate records of trips and any incidents or maintenance needs. Communicate effectively front desk regarding schedules. Track flights to be proactive in arriving and departing on time. Handle heavy lifting when necessary, including loading or unloading luggage or equipment safely. Requirements Proven experience in shuttle driving, bus driving, delivery driving, or similar roles involving commercial driving. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong communication skills to interact courteously with passengers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and comfortably as part of daily duties. Experience with paratransit services or school bus driving is a plus but not required.
