$130 per dayJob Description:
We are looking for a professional and reliable driver to join our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) company in Tulsa, OK. The driver will be responsible for safely and punctually transporting wheelchair patients to and from their medical appointments.Work Schedule Details:
Our work schedule typically ranges from 8 to 10 hours per day, but it is not a fixed shift like a standard 7-3 or 8-4 job. Each day starts when the first trip begins and ends when the last trip is completed. Start times can vary—some days may begin early in the morning, while others may start later. Likewise, finish times can be earlier or later depending on the schedule. Every day is different, and flexibility is an important part of this type of work in the NEMT industry.Main Responsibilities:
Drive daily to various locations within and outside the Tulsa area (up to 180 miles). Transport passengers — including those in wheelchairs — to clinics, hospitals, and private residences. Properly operate the wheelchair ramp and securement systems (training provided). Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle, if needed. Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher regarding schedules and routes. Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and fueled. Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies.Requirements:
Certifications:
CPR, Defensive Driving, Basic Training, and Wheelchair Securement Training. Valid Oklahoma Driver's License (Class D or higher).Minimum age:
28 years old. Clean driving record (no major accidents, no DUI, no felonies). Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday. Cell phone with GPS and good communication skills. Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism are essential. Must pass a drug test (no marijuana use permitted).We Offer:
1099 position (independent contractor). Daily pay of $130 (one week hold; paychecks every Friday). Professional and respectful work environment. Basic NEMT training provided (no experience required).
