Job Description
About us Nittany Valley Transportation is a small business in Lamar, PA. We have been providing safe, dependable transportation service to the plain Amish community for over 23 years. This position would be to pick up and transport Amish passengers on an "as-needed" basis to and from work/school at various different locations throughout the local area in the morning, leaving Lamar at 5:20am, and being done at 6:40am. Afternoons are leaving Lamar at 3:15pm and being done around 5:15pm. Please note that early mornings are required! I'm looking for someone who is available to help on days that I go long distance, have appointments, trips overlap, etc. This could range from no days a week, to 3 or 4 days a week, it could be just in the morning, it could be just in the afternoon. It fluctuates on what is scheduled. The Route is the same every day unless one of the workers is off. Three hours a day, this is perfect for someone retired and looking to make a little extra money, or anyone for that matter that these hours work for. The route is Monday-Friday only, no weekends, and is all in the the Lamar/Hublersburg/Blanchard/Beech Creek/Rote areas. It consists of driving Dumpster Shop & Shed Shop workers. Please understand this is not a full time position and is only on an "as-needed" basis. This is not for someone looking for full-time employment. Ideally, I'd like to find someone within the local area that's close to Lamar.
