Job Description

Join Avis Budget Group as an Airport Fleet Driver/Transporter supporting fast-paced rental operations. In this role you'll safely transport rental vehicles between airport locations, service areas, and ready lines while following all traffic laws and company safety procedures. You'll inspect vehicles for damage, cleanliness, and fuel levels, document issues, and coordinate with operations and customer service teams to keep cars available and turnarounds on time. This position requires strong driving skills, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a collaborative, performance-driven, customer-focused environment with varying shifts, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities Safely drive and transport rental vehicles between airport locations, lots, and service areas Follow all traffic laws, airport rules, and company safety procedures Inspect vehicles for damage, cleanliness, and fuel levels before and after movement Report and document any vehicle damage, maintenance needs, or safety concerns Stage and organize vehicles on the ready line to meet operational and customer demand Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to support on-time vehicle turnarounds Refuel, move, and reposition vehicles to optimize fleet availability and flow Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and flight schedules Required Skills Safe driving and vehicle handling Knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving Vehicle inspection and basic condition assessment Basic recordkeeping and documentation Time management and route planning Attention to detail for damage and cleanliness checks Communication with operations and customer service teams Ability to work outdoors in varying weather Basic mechanical awareness Adherence to safety and security procedures
