This role involves transporting passengers safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism. The Driver/Attendant will be responsible for ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs, maintaining the vehicle, and providing exceptional service to clients. Candidates with experience in commercial driving, limousine services, or school bus operations are encouraged to apply. Duties Operate one of our NEMT stretcher/wheelchair vans. Transport patients to scheduled appointments Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly Load and unload patients safely and in accordance with NEMT industry standards. Maintain accurate records of trips. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns Uphold excellent customer service standards by being courteous, professional, and attentive to passenger needs Experience Prior experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine services preferred Experience with paratransit or school bus driving is a plus Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required Strong communication skills for interacting with passengers and team members effectively Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., driver license) with a clean driving record Ability to operate heavy vehicles confidently and responsibly in various conditions Retirees and or part time job seekers are strongly encouraged to apply.
Pay:
$15.50 - $20.00 per hour
