We're looking for a dependable, safety-focused Van Driver to transport the children in our care to and from the center and on occasional outings. What You'll Do Safely transport children to and from the daycare and approved destinations following all traffic laws and company safety policies Ensure every child is properly secured in the appropriate car seat, booster, or seat belt before the vehicle moves Account for every child at each pickup and drop-off, and never leave a child unattended in the vehicle Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns Keep the van clean and ready for use, and maintain accurate trip and attendance logs Communicate respectfully with children, parents, and staff Assist children in and out of the vehicle as needed What You'll Need Valid Tennessee Class D driver's license with a current "F" (for-hire) endorsement — required to transport passengers for hire in Tennessee Clean driving record At least 21 years of age (for insurance purposes) Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting, as required for childcare staff in Tennessee Patience, reliability, and a genuine care for children's safety and wellbeing Ability to assist young children and lift/buckle as needed Preferred (or willing to obtain) CPR and First Aid certification Prior experience driving for a school, daycare, or passenger-transport service Schedule Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00
