Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and reliable Shuttle Van Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating shuttle vans to transport passengers to and from home, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for all riders. Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellent customer service will help create a positive environment while maintaining strict safety standards. This position is part time split shift from 7am to 9am and from 1pm to 3pm. Responsibilities Safely operate shuttle vans along predetermined routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting passengers warmly, assisting with boarding, and answering questions professionally. Maintain accurate logs of trips, passenger counts, and any incidents or maintenance needs during shifts. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members using radios or other communication devices to coordinate schedules and report issues promptly. Follow safety protocols rigorously to ensure passenger safety at all times and respond appropriately in emergency situations. Skills Experience drivers wanted, Must have a valid Class A,B or C license. Must be able to pass background check. Strong communication skills to interact clearly with passengers and team members. Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and identify potential mechanical issues. Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for passenger transportation. Physical ability for light lifting and prolonged periods of sitting or standing during shifts. Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional appearance and demeanor. Experience with paratransit services or heavy lifting is a plus; familiarity with different types of commercial vehicles enhances your candidacy.
