Description:
Avis-Budget Rent a Car of Utah is looking for a dependable Part-Time Shuttle Driver to help move vehicles between our rental facilities, service locations, and business partners. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, prefers a hands-on role, and takes pride in keeping vehicle operations running smoothly. The Shuttle Driver will transport passenger vans, cars, trucks, and other fleet vehicles as needed. The position primarily supports internal operations and does not involve regular customer-facing responsibilities. This flexible opportunity may be a good fit for individuals seeking supplemental income, seasonal work, or a part-time position that keeps them active. Key Responsibilities Drive and relocate fleet vehicles between company locations, vendors, and other designated facilities. Safely operate passenger vans, cars, trucks, and other vehicles as assigned. Complete basic vehicle checks before and after each trip and report any concerns. Assist with vehicle movement and other operational needs as directed by management. Work cooperatively with team members and provide support to other locations when needed. Follow company safety standards, driving procedures, and operational policies. Maintain dependable attendance and communicate schedule-related issues promptly. Responsibilities may vary based on business needs. Management may assign additional duties as appropriate.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and good driving record. Must be at least 21 years old. Availability to work weekends and holidays. Comfortable operating different types and sizes of vehicles. Strong communication and organizational skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. High school diploma or GED preferred. Must successfully complete the company's required background check and drug screening.
