Job Description of Driver / Job Description of Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver We are looking for compassionate, trustworthy, experienced and dependable Drivers to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide for the transportation of clients to and from hospitals, nursing and rehabilitation facilities, dialysis centres, medical offices, private residences, airports, outings and events. Furthermore, you will ensure that all passengers reach their destinations safely and in a timely fashion. That means ensuring that everyone is safely strapped in his or her seatbelt and/or wheelchair restraints to have an enjoyable, comfortable ride. Our Delivery Service helps the community of Beloit young and old, sick or healthy, shut-ins or when you're in a pinch and you're just stuck and can't get out. Just look at our delivery service as if it's an extension of yourself. We make Beloit mobile, we deliver from every kind of store possible (all restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies and more).

Full time / Part time Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Workday begins when you pick up your first member and ends when you drop-off your last passenger
- Show up to work in a timely manner
- Take work orders from supervisor for client trip
- Transporting clients to their destinations on time
- Assisting clients in getting onto the vehicle and safely inside of their respective destination
- Utilizing company vehicle in a professional manner
- Report back to the supervisor when clients have been dropped off at their destination
- Report traffic delays on route back to supervisor
- Notifying the client, if necessary, of late arrivals
- Reporting any incidents or accidents to the supervisor
- Operating vehicle in a safe manner to include parking the vehicle and pulling into/out of temporary loading/unloading areas
- Utilizing smart mobile technology to interact with dispatching staff to obtain client trip schedules, report the time of passenger pickups and drop offs, as well as any changes to schedule or traffic delays.
- Maintaining a professional image and attitude with clients, visitors, and co-workers
- Operate wheelchair lifts as needed
- Completing daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Adhering to company policies and standard operating procedures Minimum Requirements & Physical Abilities
- Work week is Monday to Saturday and an occasional Sunday
- HS diploma or GED, with fluency to read and write in the English language
- Must have clean driving records
- Should not have any felony in past 10 years
- Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and criminal background investigation
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Must pass a criminal background check with a clean driving record
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification or able to obtain within 30-days of hire
- Must be able to operate the hydraulic wheelchair lift to safely put a client in/off the vehicle.
- Must possess a valid state-issued, non-expired driver's license, and provide a current 10-year DMV printout
- No moving violations or "at fault" accidents within the past 3 years
- Ability to understand and operate smart mobile technology, GPS applications, 2-way radios, and cell phones
- Ability to physically step up and down, bend, stoop, and safely secure clients for transport, lift up to 50 lbs., and transport wheelchair clients on paved and unpaved surfaces
- Ability to adhere to HIPAA and client confidentiality mandates
