Faxing Full Job Description Purpose of Position:
To ensure guest needs and expectations are exceeded. To maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the van and shuttle our guests to nearby businesses and the airport.
Position Summary:
The Van Drivers reinforce the statement of customer service. The Van Driver is responsible for the comfort and needs of every guest. They also must maintain the cleanliness of the vans and help with minor cleaning duties during downtime as needs arise and as they are assigned by our various hotels.
Essential Tasks/Functions:
Assist guests with any special needs and always make guests the 1st priority. Greet every guest that is met. Assist and accommodate all guest needs within your capabilities. Deliver any faxes, guest laundry, cribs, messages, coffee, pillows, and whatever guests request to exceed our guests' expectations during downtime. Provide van transportation for guests to specific locations. Maintain vehicles in a very clean and operable fashion. Perform daily pre-shift vehicle inspections and report any issues to Management. Perform miscellaneous runs to pick up groceries, office supplies and other items. Assist in handling and resolving guest complaints. Uses proper mail, package and message handling procedures. Uses proper telephone etiquette. Writes legible. Sends and receives faxes. Promptly reports to Manager all incidents or occurrences of an unusual nature that could result in potential loss, damage, injury or other liability to individuals or company property. Attends all department meetings. Knows all emergency and safety procedures. Is aware of accident prevention policies. Carries out all company policies and procedures for safety and security. Reports any and all injuries. Report all lost and found to supervisor or front desk staff.
Job Requirements:
Read, write, speak and understand English. Neat and well-groomed appearance. Requires finger dexterity, grasping, sitting, standing, walking, writing, bending, repetitive motion, hearing, visual acuity and ability to carry up to 50 pounds on a regular and continual basis. Pleasant personality and people skills. Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends. Maintain a high level of quality, service and cleanliness. Eye for detail. Good communication skills. Maintain an impeccable driving record as stated on the Wisco Fleet Safety Policy.
