As one of the first and last team members guests interact with, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional hospitality while ensuring timely transportation to and from local destinations, including the airport, businesses, and nearby attractions. Responsibilities Safely operate passenger vans, shuttle buses, and other commercial vehicles on local driving routes in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies. Provide friendly, professional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and answering questions about routes or schedules. Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle interior and exterior to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for passengers. Follow GPS navigation systems accurately to reach destinations efficiently while adhering to designated routes. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before each shift. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding schedules, delays, or route changes. Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as loading or unloading luggage or equipment when necessary. Adhere strictly to state transportation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies at all times. Report any incidents or accidents immediately and complete required documentation thoroughly. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or shuttle driver is highly preferred. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., passenger vehicle license) with a clean driving record. Experience operating passenger vans, medical transportation vehicles, or paratransit services is a plus. Knowledge of GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to ensure timely arrivals. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team coordination. Familiarity with traffic regulations, state transportation laws, and safety standards for commercial driving. Experience with vehicle maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting is desirable. Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on providing a positive passenger experience.
