Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the company vans. requirements
- Transport passengers or goods to their designated locations in a timely and efficient manner
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and other road users
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of fares or deliveries, if applicable
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with no more than 3 infractions in a 5 year period
- Previous experience in paratransit, commercial driving, delivery driving, school bus driving, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues
- Strong driving skills with the ability to navigate various routes and road conditions
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time arrivals and departures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to schedules and deadlines
