Position Details Schedule:

Evening shift, with weekend and holiday rotations required Contract duration: 13 weeks, with potential for extension Key Responsibilities Perform bench work focused on chemistry (using Beckman DXC700AU, DXI, Abbott Architect), hematology (Sysmex XN), urinalysis (DXU 840, AX 4030), and coagulation (ACL TOPS) Conduct and manage workflow on high-throughput analyzers, processing substantial sample volumes daily Prioritize tasks, troubleshoot instrumentation issues, and efficiently manage workload independently Collaborate as needed with fellow technologists, maintaining a supportive team culture Participate in limited rapid molecular testing (Abbott ID NOW) during training Required Qualifications Valid New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License Minimum of 4 years' clinical laboratory experience preferred Demonstrated expertise in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and coagulation Experience handling large sample volumes in a demanding environment Strong troubleshooting, prioritization, and organizational skills Adaptability, confidence working independently, and readiness to assist colleagues when necessary Preferred Experience Microbiology experience Prior exposure to high-volume laboratory workflows This opportunity suits professionals who embrace fast-paced environments and appreciate a thorough orientation and training process.
