Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Travel Discover the vibrant beauty and welcoming spirit of Hyden, KY while expanding your professional expertise as a Cath Lab Tech in a dynamic imaging environment. This travel opportunity places you at the heart of a unique region with lush Appalachian landscapes to explore during your downtime and offers unparalleled hands-on experience across interventional cardiology and electrophysiology labs. Working closely with experienced colleagues and diverse medical leadership, you'll have the opportunity to strengthen your clinical knowledge while building your résumé with advanced cardiac procedures and exposure to both radial and groin access techniques. Benefit from comprehensive cross-training in electrophysiology (EP) and gain confidence managing a full suite of devices and interventions from Shockwave and Balloon Pumps to cutting-edge device implants.
Schedule & Hours:
Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 17:30 (4x10-hour shifts) A weekday off rotating each weekOn Call:
8-10 days/month (includes one night weekly and one weekend every three weeks) Must respond within 30 minutes for STEMI alertsQualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab setting ARRT certification and (or willing to obtain) KY license (must apply day of offer) AHA BLS andAHA ACLS
certifications required Will consider candidates willing to apply for KY Licensure upon offer EP experience preferred Must live at least 75 miles away (no local applicants) Valid driver's license requiredResponsibilities:
Scrub and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases Table panning during procedures Operate and assist with devices including Shockwave, Balloon Pump, Impella, EKOS, Penumbra, and ACIST injector Support peripheral diagnostics, interventions, and device implants (pacemakers, ICDs) Cross-training and active participation in EP lab proceduresBenefits & Perks:
