This travel Cath Lab Tech role provides a unique platform to expand your expertise through a high-volume, advanced Level III Cardiac Cath Lab, complete with three state-of-the-art rooms. From scrubbing advanced cases to assisting with innovative cardiac procedures, you'll collaborate with exceptional teams, build your clinical resume, and gain invaluable insights into diverse workplace practices and leadership styles.
Schedule/Hours:
Shift:
7:00 am - 5:30 pm Four 10-hour days weekly
On-call:
1 night per week (5:00 pm - 7:30 am) and every 4th weekend (Friday 5:00 pm to Monday 7:30 am)
Responsibilities:
Scrub, run II, and operate Fluoro across 10+ cases daily Assist with cardiac electrophysiology studies, ablation, and structural heart procedures (including ECMO, Impella, peripheral vascular cases) Prepare, calibrate, and maintain complex cath lab equipment Monitor patients, perform assessments and calculations for diagnostic and treatment planning Ensure safety protocols (lead aprons, thyroid shields) and manage supplies efficiently Maintain equipment, support accurate procedural billing, and uphold high standards of patient care
Qualifications:
ARRT certification required; RCIS, Radiology Tech, or accredited Electrophysiology program Vocational/Technical degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred Proficient in recognizing/monitoring ECGs, patient assessment, drug dosage calculation, operating cath lab technology Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt in high-pressure clinical settings
