As a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech working in a bustling facility, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Engage daily with a skilled team, learning from varied leadership approaches and gaining exposure to advanced interventions—perfect for expanding your resume and elevating your capabilities in the ever-evolving world of cardiac care.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts (40 hours per week)
On Call:
10-14 days per rotation, including some weekends and holidays No regular weekends, but weekend call required
Key Qualifications:
Associate of Science degree or completion of a Cardiovascular Tech program Minimum 1 year procedural experience (including Cath, IR, EP—circulating and scrubbing) Proficient in Impella Experience with structural heart cases (TAVR, Watchman/Amulet, PFO, Mitral Clip) Familiarity with implanted devices (PPM, IABP), ICDs, ablation procedures Current ARRT(R) license & Texas CMRT BLS and ACLS through AHA Experience with EPIQ ultrasound COVID vaccine (or approved exemption)
Responsibilities:
Deliver expert-level technical assistance for cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures Perform emergency interventions as needed, always maintaining safety and quality Uphold best practices under direction of a credentialed provider
