Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Travel Experience the vibrant coastal charm of Fairfield, CT while furthering your career in one of the region's most respected cardiovascular specialty departments. This engaging travel assignment offers healthcare professionals the chance to immerse themselves in advanced interventional procedures, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and develop expertise across all facets of the Cath Lab environment. Working here means exposure to the latest imaging and interventional techniques. You'll engage with leaders in electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart procedures. This role is designed for technologists eager to strengthen their skills while working alongside top-tier cardiovascular teams who prioritize patient-centered care and continuous learning.
Schedule:
3 x 12-hour shifts Variable start times between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation as neededQualifications:
State of CT Radiographer license and/or RCIS certification through CCI Minimum 3+ years' experience in Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab BLS and ACLS required Proficiency in high-acuity cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, device work (implants, generator changes, lead revisions), leadless systems (Micra, Aveir), diagnostic/interventional cardiac cath, Impella, IABP, and temporary pacing Experience in neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures Vascular access expertise (radial, femoral), sheath management, vascular closure devicesPreferred Skills:
Licensed radiologic technologist familiar with Siemens platforms Proficiency in structural heart cases (TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, Watchman) Experience withICE, IVUS, OCT, 3D
