A 13-week assignment awaits a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) seeking exposure to innovative therapy practices and diverse patient populations in a modern veteran-centered facility. Schedule/Hours:
13-week travel role 36 hours guaranteed weekly
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy interventions as directed by licensed therapists, supporting veterans in regaining independence and improving quality of life. Assist with assessments, implement treatment plans, document patient progress, and communicate findings to the wider healthcare team. Adapt therapeutic techniques to suit individual patient needs, fostering a supportive and compassionate therapy environment. Maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare standards and facility policies. Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs and adaptive equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license (state eligibility for Montana). Previous experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility preferred. Understanding of therapeutic techniques and excellent interpersonal skills. Strong team player with adaptable approach in dynamic settings.
