1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week acute care contract at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) in a rural setting, with experience in hospital and long-term care required. Details Acute care setting at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) in a rural environment Primary work in hospital and long-term care settings, with minimal outpatient (OP) and home health (HH) exposure Position covers two facility locations: one in Canby, SD and one in Clear Lake, SD Day shift with 12-hour shifts
EMR:
Epic 13-week contract Requirements Active COTA license in both South Dakota (SD) and Minnesota (MN) required Active BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of relevant occupational therapy experience Experience with Epic EMR Active certifications required at time of consideration — no pending certifications accepted 2 professional references required: 1 supervisor reference within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from the position's specialty within the last 3 years License required if applicable Additional Information Complimentary housing provided by the facility through Sanford's housing program Candidates who have previously worked at any Sanford Health location must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their submission date All clinicians are required to badge in and out at the facility Scrub/dress code: Polo shirt (ceil blue, khaki, gray, or chocolate brown) or business casual attire Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility may be subject to adjusted pay rates
