Travel contract; rotating schedule and shifts may be required to meet department needs

Preferred Qualifications:

Current national certification as a CVOR Tech (or equivalent Surgical Technology certificate) Prior experience supporting cardiovascular surgical procedures Strong knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, and equipment set-up Ability to thrive in fast-paced, pressure-driven environments Effective communication and teamwork skills BLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, maintain, and break down surgical equipment and supplies for cardiovascular cases Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout procedures Anticipate the needs of surgeons and surgical teams for instruments and supplies Ensure accurate surgical counts and patient safety at all times Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and transporting as needed Support post-procedure clean up and supply restocking
