Qualifications:
Certification as a CVOR Tech or equivalent experience in a cardiovascular operating room Proven competency in scrubbing and assisting with cardiovascular surgical procedures Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willing to obtain) Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile techniques, and OR protocols Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in fast-paced environments Excellent communicative and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain cardiovascular operating rooms for surgical procedures Assist surgeons and nursing staff by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment Ensure adherence to all sterile techniques and safety standards during procedures Perform pre-op and post-op equipment checks and maintain surgical instruments Contribute to patient safety and quality care throughout the perioperative process Communicate effectively with surgical teams to facilitate optimal workflow
