Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience required; Master's preferred Active RN licensure in California (or state of practice) AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS, AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS, and AHA-PALS or
ARC-PALS
required Five years of technical nursing experience preferred Proven supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership skills required Clinical specialty or nursing administration certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Provide unit-based leadership, directing nursing and ancillary staff Coordinate and improve individualized care plans for optimal patient outcomes Monitor and ensure quality and safety throughout the department Mentor staff, participate in hiring and performance evaluations Implement and assess data-driven improvement initiatives with management Troubleshoot patient care and operational issues as they arise Manage staff assignments, schedules, and shift coverage to meet dynamic unit needs Maintain compliance with all safety, policy, and regulatory standards
