Schedule/Hours Flexible rotations across radiology divisions and off-site clinics On-call coverage and overtime situations as necessary Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification (must be maintained) Siemens CT experience and Level 1 trauma exposure required 2-3 years' experience in radiologic technology; at least 1 year with cross-sectional anatomy Skilled communicator, able to interact with patients under stress Strong analytical abilities in imaging techniques, processes, and anatomy Responsibilities Operate CT scanners and related equipment following established protocols Accurately prepare, position, and shield patients for diagnostic imaging Explain exams with sensitivity to physical and emotional needs; uphold confidentiality Calibrate equipment and report malfunctions Perform venipuncture for contrast administration under radiologist direction Complete Radiology Information System tasks and manage examination paperwork Attend staff meetings and maintain CEUs for licensure Instruct students and personnel as needed; participate in research and quality improvement Stock supplies and maintain room readiness Transport and transfer patients following departmental guidelines Use independent judgment and initiative in fast-paced situations Benefits and Perks Tax-advantaged stipends to maximize your earnings while on assignment Comprehensive travel assistance to ensure smooth relocation and support Premium compensation packages in a thriving urban location Robust healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) plan for your financial security Job stability within a respected healthcare system, plus resume-building opportunities Seize the chance to advance your career while discovering all that Cambridge has to offer.
