Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Salem, Wisconsin offers travelers a delightful blend of small-town charm and easy access to lakes, trails, and vibrant cultural destinations. With this travel opportunity, you'll not only advance your career as a CT technologist but also enjoy downtime exploring regional parks, sampling local cuisine, and experiencing the natural beauty that southeastern Wisconsin is known for. Work within a dynamic imaging department at a recognized healthcare center, gaining valuable exposure to advanced technology and a wide variety of patient cases—from emergency department to inpatient settings. This assignment is designed to strengthen your clinical expertise, enhance your adaptability, and broaden your professional network. You'll work independently, supported by an X-ray technologist, providing CT services in a setting that encourages autonomy and growth while collaborating with healthcare leaders. This is a stellar chance to build your resume, learn new practices, and develop your leadership capabilities.
Schedule/Hours:
3rd shift; 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
Thursday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday:
8:30pm-6:30am
Friday, Saturday, Sunday:
7pm-7am
Required Qualifications:
ARRT (CT registered) BLS certification At least two years' experience with Canon (Toshiba) CT scanners (80-slice) Two years' experience with Medrad Stellant injectors Proficiency in CT principles, peripheral IV starts, and IV contrast administration Strong communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with EPIC charting system
Core Responsibilities:
Perform inpatient, outpatient, and emergency CT procedures with a patient-focused mindset Independently manage workflow and imaging studies, ensuring quality and patient safety Transport patients as needed to/from exams Accurately use Canon/Toshiba CT equipment and document in EPIC system Collaborate with department supervisors and support technologists
